Mental Health Counselors of Greater Rochester sponsored an evening networking event for community mediators on Friday, October 17th. Over 30 people attended and certainly appeared to enjoy the refreshments and the opportunity to meet and talk with each other. Mediators had the opportunity to meet mental health counselors from the greater Rochester area and to learn about the diverse work of mental health counselors. It offered mental health counselors the occasion to meet mediators and to learn how they are a part of family transitions. It was an energizing evening for all who attended and MHCGR plan to sponsor future networking events with other professional groups. A great appreciation is extended to the counseling group of Nancy Harris, Elizabeth Brown and Gerri Stanton for providing their lovely office suite and to all those who provided refreshments.
